**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Grocery Department Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, achieving sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

**Duties:**

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Dry goods section of the store.

- Supervise and train store staff to deliver exceptional customer service

- Achieve sales targets and goals

- Implement strategies to increase store profitability

- Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in a retail management role prefered

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management

- Bilingual or multilingual skills is a plus

- Experience in interacting with vendors is a plus

- Previous experience as an Assistant Department Manager is advantageous
